Essential Job Functions
- Plans machining by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Develops computer numerical control machine programs with the help of CAM software (GibbsCAM).
- Creates set-up sheets and work instructions for parts.
- Works in a safe manner and always observes plant safety rules and regulations.
- Aware of all Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Troubleshoot problems during production.
- Assist in producing the 1st part and make any corrections required to reach approval.
- Designs fixtures and tooling that support the selected process.
- Select, purchase, and inventory cutters and items required for production. Accountabilities

- Able to schedule and manage production staff and equipment.

- 5 years' experience in programming.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Ability to trouble shoot problems with programs and machines
- Ability to stand for long periods of time. Desirable Qualifications
- Ability to operate CNC machines such as lathes and milling in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Degree.
Ability to operate a forklift
