Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team in the Nashville area. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs to produce high-quality precision parts efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills and/or lathes using CAD/CAM software Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies Support CNC machine setup and prove-out of new programs Troubleshoot machining issues and improve cycle times and part quality Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project timelines Maintain documentation for programs, processes, and revisions Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards Qualifications 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with CNC mills and/or lathes (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis preferred) Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, or similar) Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Experience working with tight tolerances and precision components Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-mix, low-volume or production environments Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing (or equivalent experience) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Stable work environment with modern equipment Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule Full-time Day shift (overtime as needed) Conact scott.slater@gogpac.com or call 515-461-1578
