Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC routing and be proficient in operating CNC routers. We currently use an Multicam apex 3r. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to be self sufficient . The CNC Mill Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining safety protocols within the manufacturing facility. Looking for someone who is organized and effecient and curious on how things are made or ways to make something better. Responsibilities Operate and set up CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret program files and CAD models to determine machining requirements. Utilize CNC programming and CAM programming techniques to create and modify programs for efficient operation. Currently running Vetric Aspire Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient materials handling and packaging of finished products. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Assist with fabrication processes including , tooling, and the operation of other machinery such as jointer and planar as needed. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC milling machines and staying organized Physically capable of lifting 80-100 lbs repetitively (sheets of plywood and MDF) Experience with Vetric or Enroute software. Knowlege of Solidworks or other CAM software is helpful Knowledge of basic math principles for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or factory environment. Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly and fabrication tasks. Experience with quality control processes to ensure product specifications are met consistently. Forklift operation experience is a plus for materials handling within the facility.
