Job Description

CNC Router Programmer / Operator We are looking for a CNC Router Programmer / Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC routing equipment for custom fabrication projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to take ownership of their work from start to finish. This is a hands-on production role. We need someone who can problem solve, stay organized, and consistently produce quality work while keeping production moving. Responsibilities Program CNC routers for production using provided drawings, layouts, and project files Set up and operate CNC routing equipment Review files and layouts prior to cutting to ensure accuracy and material efficiency Load and unload materials safely and efficiently Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Perform basic machine maintenance and upkeep Troubleshoot programming or production issues as they arise Maintain quality control throughout the fabrication process Work closely with production, project management, and graphics teams to meet deadlines Keep work area clean and organized Assist with other production-related tasks as needed Qualifications Experience operating and programming CNC routers required Experience with fabrication/manufacturing environments preferred Ability to read shop drawings, layouts, and production files Familiarity with CAD/CAM software Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage time and prioritize workload effectively Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Ability to lift materials and be on your feet throughout the workday Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team Preferred Experience Experience in signage, woodworking, plastics, millwork, or custom fabrication Experience with nested-based manufacturing workflows Familiarity with sheet optimization and material yields Experience with tools such as EnRoute, Aspire, VCarve, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, or similar software About the Role This is a salaried/full-time production position. We are looking for someone dependable who understands that production environments require flexibility, urgency, and follow-through. Some days are straightforward, some days are chaotic — the expectation is that you show up, communicate well, and help keep production moving. We value people who take ownership of their work, pay attention to detail, and contribute positively to the team environment.

From $24.00 per hour
