CNC Programmer

Staff Up is hiring experienced CNC Operators for a Machining and fabrication company in Cedar Hill, TX 75104

Shift:

Mon-Fri | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM + Overtime (20 to 25 hours of Overtime available per week)

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00/hr. (Based on experience)

Role Overview:

We specialize in 100% custom parts with no mass production . Because every job is unique, you must be extremely fluent in programming to keep up with one-off custom designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, Set Up & Operate:

Manage CNC vertical/horizontal mills and manual CNC lathes.

Custom Fabrication:

Set up work holding fixtures, tooling, and machine parameters for unique, non-repetitive jobs. Able to disassemble/ reassemble the mill Using liquid nitrogen to freeze and bend metal. Also use heat on parts.

Technical Reading:

Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to select appropriate speeds, feeds, and tooling.

Quality Control:

Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes; perform first-piece inspections using calipers and micrometers.

Problem Solving:

Troubleshoot issues and optimize programs for efficiency; debur and finish components as needed.

Collaboration:

Work directly with engineers and designers to meet specific project goals.

Requirements:

Understanding of Math X & Y Axis High proficiency in CNC programming (essential for custom workflows).
