The ideal candidate will be proficient in both programming and setup, with experience running small-medium precision components. This role is essential for ensuring precision and efficiency in the fabrication of parts using various machining processes with a variety of materials. The CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator will work closely with other machinists to develop, implement, and optimize lathe programs. Duties Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes with C & Y axis. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Utilize CAM software to generate efficient and accurate programs. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot programs, tooling, and machine performance to maintain tight tolerances Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, and tooling used. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer & Operator. Strong knowledge of CNC lathes with C & Y-Axis capabilities Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. Experience machining tight-tolerance components. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
