Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machining Programmer/Supervisor to lead our precision manufacturing operations. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the programming, setup, and supervision of CNC machining processes, ensuring high-quality production and efficiency. Your expertise in CNC programming, tooling, and manufacturing best practices will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technologies and lead a team dedicated to precision engineering. Responsibilities Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and other machining centers using CAM software such as Mastercam. Supervise daily machining operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and production schedules. Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to produce precise components. Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including Fanuc controls, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and calibration with precision measuring instruments like bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste while maintaining high standards of quality. Oversee tooling selection, maintenance, and replacement to optimize machining performance. Train team members on CNC programming techniques, machine operation, safety protocols, and quality control procedures. Qualifications Proven experience programming CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with Fanuc controls or similar systems. Strong knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing parts and fixtures. Expertise in CAM programming for efficient toolpath creation and machine setup. Solid understanding of mechanical principles, geometry, schematics, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret GD&T specifications for tight tolerances. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies to enhance productivity while maintaining quality standards.
