Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team, supporting aerospace structural production in a dynamic fabrication environment. Our team is dedicated to turning engineered concepts into high-quality parts by leveraging advanced programming expertise and collaborating across engineering and shop-floor functions.
Responsibilities:
Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data, tooling geometry, and setup documentation for multi-axis CNC machines, prioritizing accuracy and producibility. Interpret engineering drawings, planning documents, and manufacturing requirements to develop robust numerical control programs for aluminum and hard-metal parts. Produce clear setup sheets and operator instructions, utilizing simulation tools to validate programs and eliminate defects prior to shop-floor execution. Collaborate closely with planning, manufacturing engineering, tooling design, and operators to optimize cycle times, improve workflow, and address manufacturability concerns.
Required:
Minimum 7 years of numerical control programming experience for production machining or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience programming 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace parts (aluminum and hard metals). Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation. Proficient in
CATIA V5 NC
programming as well as NC simulation/verification tools such as Vericut.
