CNC Programmer Mastercam

Monday-Thursday (7am - 5:30pm) We are a small machine shop seeking a CNC Programmer with solid Mastercam experience. This role works directly with the Operations Manager and plays a key role in keeping production moving through efficient programming and shop-floor support. Responsibilities Program CNC parts for 3, 4 and 5-axis machines using Mastercam Develop programs for new parts and support existing production jobs Make last-minute program edits to improve flow and minimize downtime Work closely with the Operations Manager, machinists, and QC Optimize tooling, feeds, speeds, and cycle times Troubleshoot machining issues directly on the shop floor Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Maintain organized and revision-controlled CNC programs Qualifications 3-5 years of CNC programming experience Strong working knowledge of Mastercam Experience with both 3-axis and 5-axis machining Solid understanding of machining fundamentals Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving shop environment Preferred (Not Required) Aerospace or precision machining experience Experience with small, tight-tolerance parts Familiarity with aluminum and steel machining Why Join Us Real ownership of programs and processes Mix of simple and complex 3, 4 and 5-axis work Clear growth path as the shop continues to expand Stable aerospace work in an AS9100-certified environment

Pay:

From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
