Job Description

About the Role We are looking for an advanced CNC Programmer to join our team in a high-mix prototype and production environment. The role involves creating comprehensive manufacturing packages, including NC code, setup sheets, and simulation files, for 3-axis, 5-axis, and mill-turn machines. Pay - $45/hr to $50/hr Responsibilities Develop optimized NC code for various machining operations. Create detailed setup sheets with necessary tooling, fixturing, and work offset information. Generate and verify simulation files before production release. Deliver complete manufacturing packages for execution on the shop floor. Design custom fixtures and workholding solutions for complex parts. Optimize workholding strategies to enhance efficiency and part quality. Collaborate with machinists on fixture implementation and refinement. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for optimal machining performance. Balance cycle time reduction with tool life and part quality. Support transitions from prototype to production with scalable programming solutions. Work closely with manufacturing engineers and machinists to troubleshoot programming issues and implement corrective actions. Provide technical guidance on machining capabilities and limitations. Education Qualification Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in CNC programming and machining. Required Skills 8+ years of advanced CNC programming experience. Expert-level workholding and fixture design capabilities. Proficiency in programming 3-axis, 5-axis, and mill-turn machines. Ability to deliver complete manufacturing packages, including NC code, setup sheets, and simulation files. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and cutting strategies. Experience working in
ISO 9001
certified environments is preferred. Familiarity with Mastercam and ESPRIT programming software is advantageous.
