Seattle Responsibilities Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining centers using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, and SolidWorks. Develop detailed toolpaths, fixture setups, and cutting strategies to enhance efficiency, precision, and material usage. Inspect machined parts using standard metrology tools to ensure conformity to design requirements. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints to create accurate CNC programs. Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and operators to streamline production processes and implement improvements. Maintain detailed records of programming procedures, revisions, and tooling changes. Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to minimize downtime. Review manufacturing planning against customer requirements. Essential Skills 2+ years of CNC programming experience preferred. Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong understanding of CNC machines, tooling, and machining techniques. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficient interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with vertical, horizontal, and multi-axis CNC machines. Experience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam. Why Work Here? $72,000 - $100,000
Contract:
Permanent Work Environment Work in a manufacturing setting with a focus on aerospace parts production. Our day shift runs from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $100000.00/yr.
