Job Description
Key Responsibilities Programming & Machine Support Program CNC laser and punch/die machines Optimize tool paths, nesting, and efficiency Ensure programs align with material specs and machine capabilities Troubleshoot programming and machine issues Engineering & Drawing Review Review drawings for accuracy and manufacturability Verify part quantities, materials, and revisions Communicate discrepancies with Engineering/Design Production Readiness Create department assembly folders for each job Ensure documentation is complete and organized Support smooth transition to production Process Improvement Improve programming efficiency and workflows Provide feedback on design for manufacturability Help develop programming standards Collaboration & Communication Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams Support shop floor with programming needs Communicate priorities and issues clearly Qualifications Experience with CNC laser and punch machines CAD/CAM proficiency Ability to read technical drawings Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications Sheet metal manufacturing experience ERP experience (e.g., Epicor) Knowledge of tooling and nesting optimization Experience with SOP development Key Traits Team player Adaptable Detail-oriented Problem solver Accountable M-F 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Overtime as needed)
