Job Description

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa company, is currently seeking a CNC Programmer for our plant located in Hager City, WI. As a CNC Programmer, you will develop, evaluate, and improve the production processes and methodologies used to manufacture new and existing products. This position will focus on the CNC programming and provide problem-solving support to production. With over sixty years of transmission structural design and fabrication experience, Meyer can provide the structure that best fits your transmission, distribution, substation, or concrete project needs. What you'll do: Develop, maintain and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements Effectively create and troubleshoot CNC programs for the designated machines Provide CNC expertise to support the manufacturing floor Provide support to the engineering team to improve quality, manufacturability and cost performance Experience with CAM Software (Mastercam, Sigma Nest, etc.) Support quality systems and customer certification initiatives by participating in project teams for continuous improvement Follow established safety and environmental procedures to ensure a clean, safe work environment Help develop, maintain and improve departmental measures Design and program in-house fixturing and test parts Provide support and collaborate with Materials Department Perform other duties as required What you'll need: Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of related experience Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects Solid Works experience desired Experience in Robotic weld programming preferred Comprehensive knowledge of metals manufacturing and tooling Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment Demonstrated skill in problem solving techniques, including team problem solving Nesting and CAM experience with PrimeCutNE, Prime Tower and Pronest along with Masterccam and AutoCAD desired Experience with plasma/ laser CNC programming Ability to read and interpret blueprints MUS276
