Dynamic's capabilities range from single cavity pilot tools to complex, high cavitation, unscrewing stack molds.
Job Description:
The Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used in the manufacturing of precision tooling and components. This role requires a deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, and CAD/CAM software. The Programmer collaborates with design engineers, toolmakers, and machinists to ensure efficient and accurate production of parts in a Tool & Die environment.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine appropriate machining operations. Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software. Work closely with Toolmakers to develop and refine machining processes.
Utilize Creo Parametric to:
Create and assemble 3D models, modify existing part and assembly models, and design electrodes based on part models. Operate and program using Autodesk Power mill software. Apply knowledge of CNC equipment to select efficient and high-quality tool paths. Understand and apply appropriate feeds and speeds (SFM, IPR) for various machining operations. Manage digital files and folders for organized workflow and data access. Maintain clear and effective communication with the CNC Specialist and other team members.
Qualifications:
5+ years of related experience. Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or completion of a certified CNC programming program. Knowledge of the injection mold building and injection molding is a plus. Proficiency in CNC programming using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360). Experience with G-code, M-code, and post-processing for CNC machines. Familiarity with Tool & Die manufacturing processes and materials. Certification in CNC Programming or equivalent trade certification. (preferred) Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC simulation tools. Experience in a high-precision Tool & Die manufacturing environment. (preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prolonged periods of standing and operating working with machinery. Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for precision work.
