Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Swiss programmer and setup specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Swiss machines—precision tools designed for complex, small-diameter parts. Your expertise will ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and continuous improvement in our machining processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Duties Develop and optimize CNC Swiss machine programs using CAM software such as Such Software and Partmaker ensuring precise adherence to engineering drawings and schematics. Set up CNC Swiss lathes by installing tooling, and dry running. Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC Swiss machines. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency on the shop floor. Read blueprints and schematics to interpret technical requirements accurately for setup and programming tasks. Skills Extensive experience programming CNC Swiss lathes with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls or similar systems. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA for designing and programming parts is helpful Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and schematic interpretation. Mechanical knowledge of tooling selection, geometry considerations, and machining processes specific to CNC Swiss operations. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity while maintaining quality standards. Excellent math skills for calculating tolerances and machining parameters; ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.
