Job Description
MBW, Inc. is an innovative and growing manufacturer of concrete and compact equipment and offers contract machining services. We're looking for a skilled CNC Set Up & Programmer to join our hardworking team! If you enjoy problem-solving, precision machining, and working in a supportive environment where employees are valued, we want to hear from you. The CNC Set Up/Programmer is responsible for creating programs for CNC machines; for updating and maintaining all programs; and for answering questions from operators. This position includes setting up and troubleshooting CNC machining equipment to perform a complex series of machining operations to meet precise tolerance and finish requirements. MBW's software is Autodesk Fusion (formerly known as Fusion 360). This position could work with Doosan collaborative robots, Fanuc robot and a Zeiss CMM as well. Responsibilities Work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications defining and coding tooling, fixturing, and machine arrangements Program with G&M code Design fixtures Knowledge and understanding of GD&T Work with collaborative robots and robots Work with CMM Set up and program Mori, Doosan and other CNC machines. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments Recognize, report and correct errors. Recommend tooling applications and operational sequence to assist in developing practical programming for new and unusual machining requirements. May set up and program for and instruct Machine Operators Comply with safety, quality and service standards within the department. What's in it for you?
