Day shift Job Overview P3SG is hiring an experienced CNC Programmer / Lead Machinist to support and program horizontal CNC machines in a modern manufacturing environment. This role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who enjoys programming, troubleshooting, and supporting shop operations. If you have strong multi‑axis CNC programming experience and enjoy working with tight tolerances, we want to speak with you. What You'll Do Programme and operate horizontal CNC machines (3 & 4‑axis; 5‑axis experience a plus) Create and optimise CNC programmes using CAM software (Mastercam / SolidWorks) Modify and adjust G‑code and M‑code at the machine as needed Support machine setups, prove‑outs, and first‑article inspections Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements Select tooling, feeds, and speeds for efficient production Troubleshoot machining and programming issues Assist and guide CNC operators when required Maintain a clean and safe work area What We're Looking For 2+ years of CNC programming experience (horizontal machining preferred) Strong experience with CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Experience working with close tolerances (up to .0005) Strong shop math skills High school diploma or GED required (Associate's degree in Manufacturing or related field preferred) Nice to Have 5‑axis CNC experience High‑mix or high‑volume manufacturing background Robotics exposure (Fanuc, ABB, UR) Lean Manufacturing or TPM experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Visual ability for precision inspection work Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with up to 4% company match (fully vested day one) Paid holidays and paid time off Apply Today First‑round interviews will be scheduled with our VP of Operations and Finance, Lori McGuire .
