Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of vehicles or structures. The Painter will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including buffing and detailing. Utilize hand tools effectively to achieve desired finishes. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist in auto estimating for projects to ensure accurate assessments of time and materials required. Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. Lift heavy materials when necessary to complete projects. Requirements Proven experience in painting, preferably in an automotive or industrial setting. Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for the job. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Proficiency in using hand tools and other painting equipment. Experience with welding is a nice-to-have skill but not mandatory.
