Full Job Description Job Title:
Senior Tekla Detailer / Lead Tekla Detailer (AISC, Structural Steel)
Location:
Mobile, Alabama Salary:
$85,000 to $130,000 + 401k (4% match) + BCBS + PTO + Bonus Potential Company Join a large heavy industrial contractor with strong long term employee tenure and a self perform fabrication and construction model. The business continues to invest in modern equipment, shop improvements, and future automation, offering stable work and long term career growth in structural steel.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain 3D structural steel models in Tekla Structures Produce fabrication and erection drawings, BOMs, and CNC files Coordinate with the fabrication shop to resolve detailing and production issues Support project teams with constructability reviews, sequencing, and revisions Review junior detailing work and maintain internal detailing standards
Ideal Candidate Profile:
10+ years Tekla detailing experience (heavy industrial preferred) Strong background in structural steel detailing and fabrication drawings Experience generating RFIs and managing drawing revisions Familiarity with AISC standards and industrial project environments AutoCAD and PowerFab experience highly desirable To apply send an up-to-date resume , or apply directly through this advertisement.
