In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by performing high-quality auto body repairs, painting, and finishing work. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are not only visually appealing but also structurally sound, providing customers with exceptional service and satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, paint, and clear coats using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish. Conduct auto glass replacement and repair as needed to restore vehicle integrity. Buff, polish, and detail vehicles to enhance appearance and quality of the finish. Assess vehicle damage accurately for auto estimating purposes and communicate repair plans effectively. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, light repairs, and heavy lifting to support overall vehicle restoration efforts. Requirements Proven restoration or auto body shop experience with a strong background in auto painting and body repair. Proficiency in welding techniques and mechanical knowledge related to vehicle repair. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, buffing equipment, and airless paint sprayers. Knowledge of German cars a plus. IE Vintage VW, Porsche, BMW Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repair processes. Experience with Restoration quality metal work a plus.
