Job Description

Join a leading aerospace team supporting Bombardier business jet programs in Tucson,AZ We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter / Aviation Painter to perform surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing on corporate aircraft, including Global and Challenger platforms. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality finishes on large aircraft structures in a production environment. Perform surface preparation, sanding, masking, and cleaning of aircraft prior to paint application Apply primer, topcoat, and aerospace coatings using spray equipment (HVLP preferred) Mask, unmask, and protect sensitive aircraft areas including windows and components Remove existing coatings, contaminants, and residues using approved methods and materials Perform bodywork including putty application, sanding, buffing, and polishing Apply chemical treatments such as Alodine to aircraft surfaces Execute touch-up and refinishing work to meet quality standards Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Document completed work per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM) Support aircraft movement and assist other team members as required Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines in a regulated aerospace environment Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Painter, Aviation Painter, or Aerospace Painter 3 years of corporate and commercial paint experience Experience painting full aircraft or large structures (corporate jets preferred) Strong background in surface preparation, masking, priming, and spray painting Experience with HVLP spray systems and industrial/aerospace coatings preferred Automotive painting experience accepted only if it includes full-body or large-scale work Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Flexibility to work different shifts as required High attention to detail and commitment to quality #JSFIRM
