Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Painter, where your expertise will transform vehicles into works of art! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles with precision and care. Your skills will help restore vehicles to their original beauty, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-ups using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, filling, and welding to restore vehicle integrity. Use buffing machines and polishing tools to achieve a smooth, glossy finish on painted surfaces. Conduct auto glass replacement and repairs as needed to maintain vehicle safety standards. Assist with auto restoration projects by performing detailed paintwork and finishing touches. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven dealership experience or automotive painting background demonstrating quality craftsmanship. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques, auto painting processes, and vehicle maintenance. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to auto restoration, auto estimating, and general vehicle repair. Experience with welding and auto glass installation is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality results efficiently.
