Job Description

Industrial Painter (Powder Coating)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime on Saturdays as needed)
Pay Rate:
$19-$21/hour (DOE) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter with powder coating expertise to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to metal surfaces, ensuring durability, consistency, and adherence to company standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience in surface preparation, coating application, and equipment maintenance in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, etc.) Apply powder coatings using spray guns and specialized equipment Ensure even coating application and high-quality finishes Monitor curing processes to ensure proper adhesion and durability Perform routine quality checks and inspections Maintain and clean coating equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of powder coating or industrial painting experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge:
Familiarity with powder types, curing processes, and quality standards
Skills:
Proficient in spray guns, powder coating systems, and inspection tools
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
