Prepare and apply specialized liquid coatings (1, 2, and 3-component systems) to molded plastic parts. Showcase Versatility:

$60,000•$68,500 per year shift: Second work hours: 1:30 PM•10 PM education: High School Responsibilities Perform painting activities on parts in preparation for painting. Apply a variety of industrial coatings to plastic products including Class A and texture paint. Utilize instrumentation and master paint samples to measure painting parameters to ensure compliance with OEM specifications. Responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces. Suggest tools and equipment to improve the operation of the unit. Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habits. Adhere to all OSHA and HazMat Procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area. Responsible for reporting malfunctions of equipment or processing to the supervisor. The essential functions of this role include: wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 7 hours at one time Skills HVLP paint gun (1 year of experience is required) Finishing (2 years of experience is required) specialized finishes wet paint attention to detail Industrial sanding spray paint Qualifications Years of experience: 2 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
