Cabinet Lead Painter

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cabinet Lead Painter to oversee and execute cabinet painting projects with precision and expertise. As a key leader on our team, you will manage painting operations, coordinate with other areas of our company, and ensure high-quality finishes to our product. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing will drive the success of our projects while maintaining safety standards and adhering to project timelines. Duties Lead and supervise painting crew in paint shop, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards Prepare surfaces meticulously through sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, primers, sealers, and specialty coatings using hand tools, power tools, airless sprayers, and other equipment Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and specifications Coordinate with other staff on time frames for completetion and availablitlity for installation for seamless project execution Conduct surface inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed before painting begins; perform restoration or remodeling work as required Maintain detailed records of materials used, work progress, safety compliance, and project documentation Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting or industrial coating applications with a strong portfolio of completed projects Skilled in surface preparation techniques Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics; able to interpret technical drawings accurately Familiar with the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including airless sprayers Join us as a Cabinet Lead Painter if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
