We specialize in paint correction, ceramic coatings, and full detail services for everyday drivers and exotic vehicle owners alike. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Ceramic Coating Technician to join our growing team. Role Overview As a Ceramic Coating Technician at P2 Auto Studio, you will be responsible for performing professional-grade paint correction and ceramic coating applications on a wide range of vehicles. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that requires precision, patience, and a genuine pride in craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough vehicle wash, decontamination, and prep prior to coating application Execute Stage 1, Stage 2, and multi-stage paint correction using dual-action and rotary polishers Apply professional ceramic coatings (2-year, 5-year, and 10-year formulas) with precision and consistency Inspect paint surfaces under lighting to identify swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation Properly mask and protect trim, glass, and rubber before polishing and coating Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly care for all tools and equipment Communicate job progress and vehicle condition clearly to management and customers when needed Follow manufacturer guidelines and curing procedures for all coating products Document before and after conditions of each vehicle with photos Uphold P2 Details standards of quality, professionalism, and attention to detail on every job Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in auto detailing or paint correction Demonstrated experience applying ceramic coatings (professional-grade products preferred) Proficiency with dual-action and rotary polishers Strong eye for paint defects and surface imperfections Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a shop environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with premium or exotic vehicles Certification or training from coating brands such as Gtechniq, GYEON, IGL, or similar Knowledge of paint protection film (PPF) is a plus Customer service or client-facing experience What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Performance-based bonuses and incentives Hands-on training with premium products and techniques A positive, professional team environment Opportunity to work on high-end and exotic vehicles Room for growth as the company expands
