Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our busy architectural metals business. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, consistently delivers showroom-quality finishes, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare metal surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply automotive paint using air paint spraying equipment, hand tools, and power tools with precision and consistency Perform surface spot repairs to create a smooth surface for painting Buff, polish, and detail painted surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish that meets industry standards Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, and the spray booth in proper working condition Ensure all safety protocols are followed when handling paints, chemicals, and equipment while maintaining a clean work environment Requirements Proven experience as an automotive painter with dealership or auto body shop background preferred Strong knowledge of auto body repair, auto painting techniques, and vehicle restoration processes Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying systems, buffing machines, and auto glass installation tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy shop setting Join our team where your craftsmanship makes a difference!
