This energetic position involves using specialized equipment and hand tools to clean, etch, and prepare metal and other surfaces for painting, coating, or fabrication. Your expertise will ensure high-quality results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment safely to remove rust, paint, and surface contaminants from various materials Set up and adjust blast media and pressure settings according to project specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to ensure surfaces meet quality standards Assist with materials handling, including loading and unloading parts using forklifts or cranes when necessary Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting machinery and related equipment to ensure optimal performance Support fabrication, assembly, or auto body repair tasks as needed using welding, machining, or auto painting techniques Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing protective gear during blasting operations and handling hazardous materials responsibly Must have prior fork lift experience Experience Prior experience in manufacturing, painting, or auto body repair is highly desirable Familiarity with industrial painting techniques such as airless paint spraying and auto painting is a plus Knowledge of mechanical systems, welding, welding safety practices, and lean manufacturing principles will enhance your effectiveness Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, cranes, forklifts, and warehouse operations is beneficial Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately Experience working with precision measuring instruments and fabricating components will support quality outcomes Demonstrated understanding of safety standards related to materials handling, machining, welding, and surface preparation Join us in delivering top-tier surface finishing solutions through your expertise in sandblasting!
