- Aircraft Painter (Aircraft Maintenance / MRO)
Location:
Miami, FL
We are currently seeking experienced Aircraft Painters for a long-term opportunity supporting a Part 145 MRO environment in Miami, FL. This role supports aircraft painting, surface preparation, and finishing operations on commercial, corporate, general aviation, and military aircraft platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting through sanding, stripping, cleaning, and masking
primers, topcoats, and specialty coatings to aircraft and aircraft components
Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications
Perform touch-ups, blending, and finishing work as required
Read and interpret technical instructions, paint drawings, and work orders
Ensure all painting and finishing work meets quality standards and customer specifications
Maintain spray equipment, paint tools, and work areas in proper condition all safety procedures related to hazardous materials and paint operations
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Support aircraft modification and maintenance projects as assigned
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3+ years of aircraft painting experience required
Experience in an MRO or aircraft production environment preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of aircraft painting and surface preparation techniques
Experience with sanding, masking, priming, and spray-painting processes
Ability to mix and apply aircraft coatings according to specifications
Experience working with spray equipment, paint booths, and finishing tools
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and work orders
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced MRO or production environment
Must provide own tools
Ability to wear respirators and required PPE during painting operations
Ability to lift, stand, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift
