PM Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:

Assist in preparing vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking, and taping off areas that should not be painted. This helps create a smooth and clean surface for the paint to adhere to.

Priming:

Apply primer to vehicle surfaces to improve paint adhesion and provide a uniform base for the paint color. This step is crucial for achieving a durable and even finish.

Mixing Paint:

Help prepare paint by mixing different colors and additives according to the painter's instructions. Ensuring the right paint consistency and color accuracy is essential for achieving the desired result. Assisting with

Painting:

Assist the painter in applying paint to vehicles using various painting techniques, such as spraying or brushing. This might involve holding equipment, adjusting spray patterns, and maintaining a consistent application.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Keep the painting area clean and organized by cleaning paint equipment, maintaining a tidy workspace, and disposing of waste properly.

Color Matching:

Help with color matching by preparing paint samples and comparing them to the vehicle's original color to ensure an accurate match.
