Shift:
5am - 1pm
Primary Responsibilities:
Wear specialized PPE, such as PAPR hood and paint suit, heat protective gloves, etc. Report for work on time every day and complete a full shift Stand for extended periods of time and safely lift up to 40 pounds Set up equipment and paint in paint booth Make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality, defect-free paint application Check parts of paint booth for wear, malfunction and replace as needed Paint and coat through manual spraying, ensuring quality Troubleshoot paint equipment (Nordson) Prepare and hang aluminum extrusion and clips for powder-coat painting Complete required paint cell documentation Visually inspect and report defects Push racks into and remove racks from curing oven Flexible/adaptable to assignment changes, will jump in when help is needed, learn new things and back-up other areas as needed Successfully pass drug screen, background check and pre-placement physical Work overtime as needed, even if not scheduled in advance Experience in a fast-paced, high performance manufacturing environment preferred Experience with LEAN manufacturing, 6S, Six Sigma, preferred Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Preferred; Knowledge and experience of machinery in manufacturing environment or similar. Preferred; Experience with LEAN manufacturing, 6S, Six Sigma. Preferred; Experience in a fast-paced, high performance manufacturing environment. Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds Able to stand 8-10 hours per day at assigned work area Background check required
