Industrial Painter Helper IMI Industrial Services Group - 3.0 Athens, GA Job Details Full-time $15 - $40 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Respirator Full Job Description IMI is currently looking for a painter helper located in the Athens, GA area. The Painter Helper will assist with senior employees. Duties of the Painter will include, but are not limited to: Assist senior employees with painting equipment and structures for protection and cosmetic purposes. Assist in the application of protective coverings to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes. Able to operate forklifts to transport material. Accurately apply basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and conversion of fractions and decimals.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Stand or walk for long periods of time Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Eye-hand coordination Good physical fitness Good sense of balance Must be able to pass certain health requirements for respirator use to remain in the paint area.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Degree from an accredited technical school; may be substituted with previous experience as a painter or in a related field.
