What You'll Do Essential Functions:

Ensure that components are properly prepped and ready to spray Properly mix paint to specification Spray prepared surfaces with primers and urethane topcoat Disassemble, clean, and reassemble spray equipment using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare vehicles for painting Clean equipment and work areas Use a brush to hand-paint areas in need of retouching or unreachable with a spray gun

Experience Requirements:

2+ years of experience in industrial spray painting or automotive painting required 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work in a team environment Attention to detail with good organization skills while working with deadlines Ability to be at work on time as scheduled

Physical Requirements:

In this position, you will be required to: Work in a paint booth and paint shop environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance Able to use your hands, fingers, and arms to carry, move and spray, stoop, squat, bend, climb, twist and reach, see and hear, and stand for up to 10 hours See all colors Use distance vision and close vision Ability to work overtime
