Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Blast & Paint Supervisor to oversee surface preparation and coating operations within the marine industry. This role requires hands-on leadership in confined space environments, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead crew performing abrasive blasting and industrial painting Operate and oversee use of equipment including sandblast pots, airless pumps, and related gear Ensure all work meets project specifications, coating standards, and quality requirements Enforce safety procedures, particularly in confined space operations Coordinate daily job activities, manpower, and materials Conduct in progress inspection Lead by example with a strong focus on productivity, safety, and workmanship
Requirements:
Experience in abrasive blasting and industrial/marine coatings Prior supervisory or crew lead experience required Strong working knowledge of blast and paint equipment (sandblast pots, airless sprayers, etc.) Experience working in confined spaces (tanks, voids, etc.) Reliable, self-motivated, and strong work ethic Ability to supervise and maintain high standards under demanding conditions Position is based out of Savannah, Georgia.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in shipyards or marine vessel environments Knowledge of coating specifications and inspection processes (NACE/AMPP a plus) Familiarity with safety standards and confined space entry procedures Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience ranging from $30 - $34 Health & Dental insurance Roth IRA Opportunities for growth based on performance
Pay:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
