Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter . The Industrial Painter will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, primers, and other finishes to metal castings and industrial components, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our safety and durability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces of cast metal components by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Prime and finish paint castings, metal fabrications, and assemblies with epoxies, enamels, urethanes, and coatings. Apply paints, primers, sealants, and coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes. Ensure proper coating thickness and finish quality in accordance with technical specifications. Operate and maintain painting and blasting equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products for quality and ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. Mix paints and coatings to specified color and viscosity. Work from work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols. Perform touch-ups and rework as needed.
Qualifications:
Auto and body shop painting experience a plus. Vocational training in painting or coatings preferred. Familiarity with different types of industrial coatings and surface preparation techniques. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a loud, hot environment. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and coveralls required. Must be able to work independently.
