Sander - Paint Prep

What is one of the first things you notice when you walk up to a vehicle? The paint job! Our sanders create the foundation for a great paint job. They use various hand tools to smooth surfaces in preparation for the paint department. Daily Tasks Sand, grind, and smooth metal surfaces to prepare for paint. Remove imperfections like spatter, sharp edges, and blemishes. Apply body filler (Bondo) to correct surface defects. Spot weld holes and repair minor dents and scratches. Inspect parts to ensure they meet paint-ready quality standards. Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and be trained. Reliable with a strong work ethic. Comfortable working with hand tools in a manufacturing setting. Previous metal finishing or auto body schooling or experience is a plus.
