Industrial Painter/Powder Coater

Paint and Powder Coat Technician Responsibilities:

Prepare parts for industrial coating process Keep the flow of parts moving through the powder coat paint line Prepping parts for paint including plugging holes, taping, etc. Masking parts per production drawings Hangs parts with appropriate spacing utilizing correct hooks for the parts Inspects painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas Cleans and maintains paint line equipment Forklift Certified or Experience a plus Team attitude

Day Shift:

Monday-Friday 6:00 am•4:30 pm

Wage:

$18.00•$25.00 per hour depending on experience

Requirements:

Industrial Painting and/or Powder Coating Experience•6 months minimum Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to operate hand tools & air powered tools Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Desired Skills:

Powder coat experience using powder coating gun Proficiency in reading technical drawings Parts masking Industrial coating experience•wet paint. We will train you on powder coating if you have other coating experience, but not powder coating.
