Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical and chemical cleaning, including solvent degreasing, de-oxidizing, and hand-sanding of aluminum, composite, and titanium parts. Apply complex masking tapes and plugs to protect critical "No-Paint" areas (grounding points, threaded holes, and mating surfaces) according to engineering blueprints. Grinding and sanding materials Working hours: 4:00 AM - 2:00

PM Skills:

Previous Paint Prep experience in manufacturing environment preferred, not required.

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

1???3 years of prep experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-end industrial painting. Ability to interpret technical drawings and masking schematics. A "zero-defect" mindset; understanding that a fingerprint or a speck of dust can cause a coating rejection. Familiarity with solvent safety (MEK, MPK, Acetone) and the use of precision measurement tools.
