EXPERIENCED BODY SHOP PAINTER

Our Bloomington Body Shop is currently looking for an experienced Body Shop Painter to join our team. What We Offer Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) FREE Life Insurance Paid Time Off Competitive Pay Based on Experience Guaranteed Pay Plans for Qualified Candidates Stable Full-Time Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Within 13 Dealerships Employee Discounts Supportive Team Environment Well-equipped shop with consistent workflow Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint including sanding, masking, feather edging, and priming Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat with attention to quality and consistency Perform spot repairs, panel blending, and full vehicle refinishing Inspect completed work for color match, finish quality, and imperfections Buff, polish, and complete final finish work as needed Maintain paint booth, spray equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition Follow all manufacturer repair procedures and company safety policies Work closely with body technicians and estimators to ensure timely, quality repairs Requirements Previous automotive body shop painting experience required Ability to properly prep, paint, blend, and finish vehicles to a high standard Experience with paint mixing and color matching Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record I-CAR or ASE certifications preferred, but not required Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills Grow Your Career with the Largest Dealer Group in Central Illinois!
