Job Description

Paint line supervisory role focused on industrial coating operations, paint line personnel, production targets, quality standards, equipment adjustments, and heavy equipment finishing processes. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 3-5+ years of experience in an industrial paint environment or heavy equipment paint environment Knowledge of industrial coatings Knowledge of paint systems and finishing processes Ability to interpret quality standards, specifications, and blueprints Experience with surface preparation, priming, topcoat, curing, and inspection processes Experience using air-powered equipment and tools Experience using paint scrapers and pneumatic paint guns Experience moving totes, parts, and equipment using a pallet jack or forklift Preferred Skills Prior supervisory experience Prior lead experience Heavy equipment manufacturing experience Paint defect troubleshooting experience Paint booth adjustment experience Paint gun adjustment experience Experience with OSHA, EPA, and VOC compliance standards Experience maintaining production, scrap, and labor records Job Responsibilities Oversee daily paint line operations in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment Supervise and coordinate paint line employees, including painters, prep technicians, and material handlers Participate in daily paint line operations as a working supervisor Ensure production schedules and production targets are met Maintain quality standards and minimize downtime Monitor paint application processes, including surface preparation, priming, topcoat, curing, and inspection Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and environmental compliance requirements Troubleshoot paint defects, equipment issues, and process interruptions Train, coach, and evaluate paint line employees Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve processes Maintain production, scrap, and labor records Clean, sand, and coat parts using air-powered equipment, paint scrapers, and pneumatic paint guns Move totes, parts, and equipment using a pallet jack or forklift Adjust paint booths, paint guns, and related equipment
Pay:
