Job Description

For over 30 years Hardin Industries, LLC has been a leading manufacturer of custom generator enclosures across the power generation industry. Located in Lacon, Illinois Hardin is ISO9001:2015 certified and operates in 55,000 square feet of fully craned space. If you have at least five year's experience in industrial paint application this is a great opportunity. You will work alongside an experienced team who is there to assist you every step of the way. Industrial Painter Duties & Responsibilities may include: Prepare a variety of parts for paint chemically and mechanically. Mix paint using predefined parameters depending on environmental factors. Apply primer and topcoat per the manufacturer's recommendation and internal process. Identify and repair any defects prior to removal of materials from the paint department. Maintain paint equipment and booth Maintain departmental documentation as needed. Maintain high commitment to safety and quality goals. You'll also need to be able to: Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach for long periods of time and to work from a ladder. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around. Go up and down stairs (where applicable). Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Color Vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. Requirements:
Candidates must be 23 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
