Primary Job Duties (including but not limited to): Paint steel and fiberglass parts of various shapes and sizes. Perform bodywork duties, including prepping fiberglass and metal parts by filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces. Accurately mix paints, primers, and related materials according to specifications. Operate forklift and paint line equipment as needed. Assemble, operate, maintain, and clean spray painting equipment. Ensure proper paint thickness and a high-quality finish. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Minimum Skills/Requirements:
1 year of relevant bodywork, painting, and paint preparation experience or equivalent training preferred. Ability to achieve consistent paint thickness and finish quality. Prior experience with proportioning units and color mixing. Previous forklift experience preferred. Ability to meet deadlines, follow verbal and written instructions, and work independently. High attention to detail with thorough inspection of finished work. Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, respirator physical and fit test, drug screen, and background check. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
