Paint Department

Primary responsibilities: Correctly identify and distinguish between similar metal parts Inspect sheet metal parts Operate pneumatic hand sander to clean metal parts Properly hang parts on hook conveyor for washing and painting Remove parts from hook conveyor after washing and/or painting and curing Properly stack painted parts for movement to Assembly line Skills/requirements of the position: Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to read and accurately compare and match part numbers Ability to lift and reach parts to/from overhead hook conveyor Prior experience or ability to be trained in powered lift truck operation Ability to work collaboratively with others on common tasks Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision Prior work experience in powder paint application in a manufacturing setting (preferred)
