Job Description
Ruggles Sign has a wonderful opportunity for a painter at our facility located in Versailles, KY, and is looking for energetic and detailed individual who will have a positive influence as a team member in our Paint Department.
The job entails the following:
Key Responsibilities- Preparing items for paint application; sanding, filling, cleaning, taping, etc.
- Paint application to metal, plastic, wood, and other materials based on job specifications.
- Ability to use a variety of paint application equipment, tools, and spray guns.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Maintain adherence to quality standards.
- Promote a safe work environment through safe behavior, safe operation of equipment, and proper use of PPE. Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or post high school certification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years automotive painting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of specialty and/or automotive painting techniques in a manufacturing environment; i.e. paint mixing and paint booth application.
- Physical ability to perform tasks related to this assignment - stand, bend, twist, lift, kneel, reach, pull, squat, push, etc.
- Ability to stand and walk 8-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper use of PPE. Desired Skills
