- In person Envoltz engineers and manufactures the most technically advanced heavy mobile equipment and battery powered solutions for a variety of industries.
Our products integrate mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, battery power, and advanced control technologies to produce safe, efficient, and reliable machines. Our most well-known machines are our diesel powered 40,000 lb. underground cable puller trailers, our battery-diesel hybrid wireline winches, and our 1-Megawatt battery powered hybrid frac assist units. To succeed in our industry, we strive to bring in the best talent available and give them the tools and support they need to do the best work of their careers. While we have high hiring standards, a candidate's past work, trade aptitude, drive, and character will always supersede their degree and years of experience. We're looking for a hands-on powder coater who takes pride in producing a quality finish and takes ownership of their work. Our powder coat shop supports a high-mix production environment — parts vary in size, shape, and complexity, and no two days look exactly the same. You will be expected to manage surface prep, racking, spraying, and oven operation, and to maintain the shop to a high standard of cleanliness and organization. Just as important as technical skill is communication. When something isn't right — whether it's a defective part, a supply shortage, or a scheduling issue — we need to know about it. Problems that get communicated get solved. We want someone who is reliable, takes direction well, and brings a professional attitude to work every day. Requirements 0-5 years of experience in powder coating, paint, or a related finishing trade Ability to perform thorough surface preparation including blasting and washing — no shortcuts Attention to detail — parts must be inspected before they leave your hands Ability to match approved color and sheen standards consistently Strong communication skills and the professionalism to raise concerns through the right channels Ability to follow a production schedule and manage your time in a shop environment Comfortable using PPE including respirator, gloves, ear plugs, and safety glasses Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment Valid driver's license preferred Responsibilities Perform thorough surface preparation including abrasive blasting and washing prior to coating Rack and hang parts of varying size and geometry for efficient, consistent coverage Apply powder coat to approved color and sheen standards using spray gun and hopper equipment Operate and monitor the cure oven, adjusting settings as needed for part type and thickness Inspect finished parts before releasing them — identify and flag any defects before they move to assembly Maintain cleanliness of the blast area, spray booth, oven, and surrounding shop. Clean gun, hopper, and hose at the end of each color run and at end of shift Keep parts organized on designated shelves with job tags throughout the coating process Communicate supply needs, equipment issues, and scheduling concerns to the production manager Follow all PPE requirements during blasting, spraying, and oven operation All other responsibilities as determined by Production Management Nice to Have Experience with industrial spray equipment Familiarity with batch production environments Basic understanding of cure schedules and powder coat chemistry Experience racking and hanging a variety of part geometries Forklift training Job Type Full-time Monday to Friday, in person Pay $20-$22/hour Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Work Location In person Please share a good email and phone number to contact you at, should you be selected for an interview.
