Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Industrial Painter, where your expertise will bring precision and quality to our industrial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of metal, plastic, and fabricated components using advanced painting techniques. Your skills in handling materials, attention to details, operating power tools, and understanding mechanical processes will ensure that every piece meets our high standards for durability and finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in industrial and construction painting. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, or masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Operate airless paint sprayers, spray guns, brushes, and rollers to apply coatings efficiently and evenly Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation, minor fabrication, or repairs as needed Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, or other warehouse equipment to transport components within the facility Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and surface smoothness Follow safety protocols related to materials handling, welding, auto body repair techniques, and working at heights with scaffolding or lifts Maintain detailed records of work performed, including coating types, application methods, and inspection results Requirements Proven in industrial painting, including auto body repair or auto painting is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining operations Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and welding equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes; warehouse experience is a plus Basic math skills for measuring coatings and calculating coverage areas accurately Knowledge of fabrication techniques and the use of precision measuring instruments Experience with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and quality in workflow Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction painting, auto body repair, welding, and working at heights This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute their technical skills in a collaborative environment.
