In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care, ensuring high-quality results that exceed customer expectations. Your expertise in auto body repair, painting, and fabrication will be vital in delivering exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive restoration and dedicated to craftsmanship. All roles are paid, including internships, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel alignment, and sheet metal work using hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, and soldering techniques. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer using airless paint spraying equipment. Execute auto painting and finishing with attention to detail, ensuring a smooth, flawless surface that matches factory specifications. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or flaws related to auto glass replacement, auto restoration projects, or mechanical issues. Use fabrication skills to modify or replace damaged panels or parts, utilizing sheet metal techniques and welding expertise. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs or assembly work when needed to support overall vehicle restoration projects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress clearly and professionally. Skills Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair and painting preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding techniques, soldering, and fabrication processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, auto glass replacement equipment, and airless paint sprayers. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during auto painting or bodywork tasks. Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities. Familiarity with sheet metal work, auto body repair standards, and automotive repair best practices.
