Paint Prepper

Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing various sheet metal parts for liquid or powder coat paint.

Essential Functions:

 Operates equipment to strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents and prepare fabricated steel items for paint or other coatings.  Clean parts by hand or spray using hot phosphatize wash prior to painting or coating.  Performs light maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment to ensure proper operation.  Responsible for loading unpainted parts on overhead line and racks.  Cleans paint mixing area, work area, and maintains cleanliness of shop and work areas.  Communicates and works with others on the team and adheres to quality standards.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

 Successful candidates will have experience grinding steel and aluminum parts.  Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA guideline.  Wear the proper protective equipment as required.  Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion. #LP123

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
