Commercial Painter Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and painting steel-welded parts using water-based industrial coatings. This includes surface preparation and applying paint using professional spray equipment in a manufacturing environment. You take pride in high-quality workmanship, thrive in a team setting, and consistently deliver outstanding results. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply water-based industrial paint using spray guns and proper techniques Collaborate with welders and machine assemblers to evaluate jobs, resolve issues, and complete work orders Determine correct materials and quantities required for each project Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, or other methods to ensure proper paint adhesion Mix and match paints to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties Inspect finished surfaces to ensure a high standard of quality Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of painting tools and spray equipment
Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting Ability to use spray equipment and follow best practices for water-based paints Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
