Administrative Assistant - Commercial & Industrial Union Painting Contractor Niles Construction Services, Inc. - 3.0 Flint, MI Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook High school diploma or GED Office management Full Job Description About Us We're a growing commercial and industrial painting contractor with a small, close‑working team that values reliability, communication, and a positive attitude. Our work moves quickly, and we depend on each other to keep projects organized and running smoothly. We keep things professional, but we also appreciate a relaxed, supportive environment where everyone pitches in and helps the team succeed. What You'll Do Help manage and organize our Microsoft Teams channels, files, and communication Support project managers with simple paperwork and day‑to‑day admin tasks Keep track of daily reports, crew schedules, and jobsite updates Handle phones, emails, and general communication Download plans/specs, organize bid documents, and help prep estimating materials Put together basic expense reports and help manage fuel cards and related expenses Keep the office running smoothly and make sure info gets to the right people What We're Looking For Someone reliable, friendly, and comfortable wearing a few different hats Good communication skills and a positive, easygoing attitude Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Microsoft Teams experience is a plus, but not required Comfortable working with field crews, PMs, and general contractors Able to stay organized even when things get a little hectic High school diploma or GED required Bonus Points (Not Required) Experience in construction or with a subcontractor Familiarity with plans, specs, or construction lingo
